By accessing or using Verbmeister ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Verbmeister is a web application designed to help users learn and remember language concepts through multiple choice questions and spaced repetition. The features and services are provided "as-is" and may be modified or discontinued at our discretion.

3. User Accounts

To access most features, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload or distribute any content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the service
  • Use any automated system to access the service in a manner that sends more request messages to the servers than a human can reasonably produce in the same period by using a conventional online web browser
  • Share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied. In no event shall Verbmeister be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
